Former tour manager for The Getaway Plan, paedophile John 'ZIMMO' Zimmerman has gotten off rather lightly after finally being sentenced to a maximum of 16 years with a minimum stretch of 12 years for 87 charges against 55 girls, the majority of whom are under the age of 16 years old.


All Pigs Must Die (members of Converge, Hope Conspiracy, The Red Chord) have announced plans for a new 7 inch. Originally meant to be released back in June, but cancelled "...due to irritating and dumb shit beyond [their] control", the 7 inch was supposed to preceed the God Of War LP.


Baltimore hardcore band Trapped Under Ice have released a new video to their song "Pleased To Meet You" off their recent album Big Kiss Goodnight. The clip is made up of live footage and vision collected from life on the road with Trapped Under Ice.


Canadian hardcore/punk band Cancer Bats have uploaded a trailer for their new album, titled 'Dead Set On Living'  due out in April of 2012. The teaser is a rather brief insight into the band recording in the studio.


Sideshows have been announced for BAD RELIGION out here with next year's Soundwave Festival. Joining them on the lineup are Strung Out, the awesome Street Dogs and the Mezingers. Sideshows are only in Melbourne and Sydney and it appears Jay Bentley is a RISE AND FALL fan. God on him..


This April, riot starting, bouncer bashing, cop baiting, hotel trashing, foul talking, noise making, chaos causing, venue wrecking, government hating, rule breaking, piss taking, unrelenting, punk rock band THE EXPLOITED bring their politically charged live show to East Coast Australia and Auckland.


Sydney band RELENTLESS have just been announced on the lineup for the 14th New England Metal and Hardcore Festival taking place over in Massachusetts, USA on April 20-22. RELENTLESS will be opening up the festival sharing a stage with the likes of First Blood, Lionheart and The Black Dahlia Murder.


The Sick Summer II Tour commences on the Sunshine Coast on February 16 and will visit towns along the East Coast before it's last stop at Melbourne's Push Over Fest on March 12. Dates have been added regional areas Cooma, Buronga and Warrnambool and supports announced too.


For those who didn't know already, IRON MIND frontman Sam Ocitgan is quite the talented artist. A few weekends ago, clothing label AFENDS organised for Sam to do a live painting at Blunt Surf and Skate Co in Torquay.  Sam's work was shot in a time lapse edit you can check out below.


Last Wednesday night at the Annandale Hotel, OFF! tore the place apart in what was easily one of the best shows of the year. If you missed the show hopefully the pics and video can help paint the picture for you.
