Eleven track comeback album for the recently reformed Modern Life Is War. Sometimes a band gets back together and releases new material and it falls flat on its face and leaves you wondering why did they bother tarnishing their reputation?  Other times they get back together and they've matured as songwriters and produce the best album of their existence. This new album from MLIW would definitely fall into the second category. This is the album, this band was always capable of writing and recording and really sounds like a refreshing breath of air in the current stale climate of the hard riff cloned landscape. Whatever you wished MLIW did that little bit better, they have on this record.
