This biographic, 300 page, full colour photo book chronicles the rise and rise of the little band that could from Byron Bay is reallly an amazing read, so much so, I got through the whole thing in a night. The story of this band has already been well documented through two DVD releases, but there is something so much more appreciable about holding a tangible photo in your hand to stare at and analyse than looking at shots on a computer screen or watching a movie. There is a running commentary from the band and a few special guest pieces written by others involved in their journey. This book also shows how hard the band worked to get to where they are and the risks they took to establish themselves overseas. Over the ten year period these guys haven't really changed a bit, just gotten a little older and wiser. The early shots of the band are pretty hilarious to look back on and you almost forget how young they all were when they first started out. This is a great read that features some really amazing photography to boot.
