After a string of 7 inch releases, comes the first full length from Night Birds. Though the style of this band is hardly unique, I really don't know many other bands around who sound like the halfway point between the Adolescents and the Angry Samoans. Think LA surf punk with a heavier emphasis on the surf guitar sound and you have what Night Birds are all about. Really fast, catchy, melodic music with a very mild guitar distortion ring to it. Goofy lyrics like their influences and a vocal sound much like the Adolescents to boot. You'd swear this album was recorded in the 80s, given the authentic sound replication. If you like the aforementioned bands you'll no doubt dig this.
