Let me start by saying I'm a huge Anthrax fan and the news that OG singer Joey Belladonna had rejoined the band, got me pretty excited. Then they dropped lead in track "Fight Em Til You Can't" and I was frothing, this was going to be a return to the classic "Among The Living" sound. So I finally get to hear a copy, first track starts off with some blast from Charlie and I'm pumped, then the chorus hits, what the fuck is this shit? Repeat this for the next 13 songs and you get the picture. Somewhere amongst this rubbish is the Anthrax I used to love and I'm really trying to like this, but you're just not helping me any modern day Anthrax. To top things off they finish with a cover of Refused's "New Noise" as a secret track that, well, was worth a crack I guess. At least Refused would be stoked by the gesture perhaps.
