Arrest Records Australia has always been a label focused on the whole community of the Punk and Hardcore scene all over the world, and the friendships that can be made from this community. These friendships formed have led to this project of a 4 way split 7” compiling tracks from four bands that reside in two different countries, cramming in 16 tracks and running for 14 minutes.

Dischord Records have announced plans to release the original demo by Washington, DC’s Rites of Spring, simply titled Six Song Demo and due out via CD, 10″ vinyl, and digital on October 23rd. Originally recorded in 1984 at Inner Ear Studios with Don Zientara and produced by Ian McKaye, this will be the first proper release of the demo.

Yep we guessed correctly, when we suggested that Chad Gilbert would provide vocals on the new Shai Hulud record. In a message from guitarist Matt Fox the reunion has been confirmed, but Fox insists the band still don't have a permanent singer.
