Minus the Bear‘s fifth studio album Infinity Overhead is set for release on August 28th on Dangerbird Records. The Seattle-based fivesome reunited with former member and longtime producer Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Isis, Cursive) to create a guitar-laden 10-track record that is heavy both on technicality and pop songcraft.

Gallows have partnered with Bridge Nine, after a short stint at Warner Bros. With old friend and ex-Alexisonfire guitarist Wade MacNeil taking over on vocals, the band will drop a new album this fall. Eleven tracks have been laid down for this effort.

Brisbane's Army Of Champions have released a free six song live EP through their Soundcloud page. The songs were recorded live at the Basement in Brisbane earlier this year on the 8th Of April by Scott Mealor.

Now confirmed for official North American release on July 17th, the anticipated new two-song Rejoice The End/Rage Of Sanity 7″ follows-up the band’s lauded Nightmares LP, released by Jade Tree Records in 2003. The songs were recorded in February at Audible Alchemy in Portland.

Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante has revealed that the group are putting together an EP to commemorate the one year anniversary of the groups latest album, “Worship Music“, which coincidentally featured a horrible cover of Refused's "New Noise".

No real surprises here with Sick of It All's masterpiece, "Scratch The Surface" being voted by you guys as your favourite release from the band. From the opening track "No Cure" right through to "Cease Fire" this is all killer, no filler. Runners up were "Blood Sweat & No Tears" and "Built To Last". Thanks to everyone who voted.
