CRUCIAL FIVE

Recorded live at the Poison City Weekender shows, the UK’s Leatherface pay tribute to the passing of Australia’s finest punk rock institution, the Arthouse Hotel. Every live recording that has come out of the Arty has been of incredible quality (think MYC & Champion) and this is no different really. Recorded by A Death In The Family drummer Matt Bodiam, there are nineteen songs in all, including a cover of the Nine Inch Nails song “Hurt” or maybe should I say a cover of the Johnny Cash version. Artwork is handled by Glenno Smith, and if you had the pleasure of attending a show at the Arty, you’ll have to admit he’s graphically captured the place perfectly. If ever you wanted a greatest hits album from Leatherface then this is probably it.
