Ceremony return with their 4th album, their first on the Matador label, with the covers EP being their last release through Bridge 9. This is really going to be the album that divides anyone who has called themselves a fan of Ceremony in the past. Their previous effort, the covers EP was a good indication in the transformed change of sound Ceremony has experienced, moving well away from their brutal and fast style to a more raw, early LA punk sound. Twelve new tracks on offer here, kicking off with lead in 7 inch song "Hysteria", a definite highlight amongst a collection of tracks that all seem to kind of morph into one. I am more of a fan of the new sound Ceremony have created, but this is gonna take some digesting.
