Damn its easy to forget how amazing a band SOIA are, but it only takes one song to rekindle your love for them again. For their 25th anniversary, they have revisited 20 of their anthems from all stages of their existence and given them a makeover. No rewriting, just a rerecording. While I feel Scratch The Surface is the perfect record and its weird to hear modern day versions of classics like Friends Like You, Injustice System, Ratpack, My Life etc, I always felt Built To Last could have been a heavier album and its great to hear these songs get a retouching. Sure the purists are gonna hate on this, but I love it, its like a greatest hits package from a timeless and amazing band.
