Any band that bolsters Good Riddance frontman Russ Rankin, Descendents drummer Bill Stevenson and Bane guitarist Aaron Balbac in their lineup, immediately has my full attention. Hard to believe it's been a seven year wait between albums, but I guess this is really just a side project for the members. On previous Only Crime albums, I've found there is one or two really good songs back ended by a lot of filler, whereas with this album I feel like it contains a lot of really memorable songs from start to finish. It's refreshing to hear the vocal stying, lyrics and phrasing of Russ Rankin again, there is an unmistakeable quality about his approach that I always find appealing. This is a great release that will probably fly under the radar, given the gap in releases.
