There are two different versions of this album, with one featuring half time drumming. There are also guest vocals from Dinosaur Jr, The Tragically Hip and Alexisonfire frontmen. None of these measures however really seem to add to the album's appeal. Backing up the brilliant "David Comes To Life" was always going to be hard to do. Any high point will always serve as a comparitive. On their latest effort, the band has continued to move futher and further away from their inital explosive hardcore sound and a band I once found really unique and appealing have started to blend their songs together into one long blur that falls a bit flat. I kind of feel like Fucked Up need to stop releasing, every single song they write and concentrate a little on collating the better songs into less spariodic releases.
