The second installment of H2O cover releases kicks off with the CroMags "Hard Times" a song the band has been playing live for a while and despite Toby Morse's high pitched vocals they pull off nicely. Next up Sick Of It All's "Friends Like You" gets some attention and is probably the weakest of the three songs. My fave Madball track "Pride" wraps up proceedings and it's a little difficult to hear it without Freddy's voice behind it. While the California 7 inch worked well, this one doesn't seem too as much as the ilk of band's covered are much harder and heavier, and the H2O sound really doesn't seem to do the songs justice.
