CRUCIAL FIVE

metropole-dont-resize-e1390938566516After an eight year break since the release of "Oh, Calcutta", three piece Lawrence Arms return with a collection of 12 new tracks on "Metropole". The band pick up where they last left off and have changed very little in their sound and approach. They have a real talent to mesh the best parts of melodic punk with traditional rock to produce really, really catchy songs and singalong choruses. I have been a longtime fan of this band and never have I found a Lawrence Arms album to be this catchy and accessible from the first listen. This is a great release and a perfect return to form for the band. Old fans will be stoked and new fans won't be dissapointed.
