Perth boys Vanity have finally released their debut LP, 'The Cast Shade', via Arrest Records after a short discography of EP's, Splits and Demos. As quoted from Vanity themselves; 'The Cast Shade is a concept album that touches on the subject of expectations and reality' and they do so through 13 songs of energetic, angry, metallic punk rock. The abrasive vocals and guiatrs can be hard to keep up with, but fans of harsh, noisey punk rock will love this LP.  If the songs had maybe a little more variance, it would be more enjoyable to listen to, that being said there is potential for bigger things.
