Interstate split between Brisbane's Headaches and Sydney's Milhouse, with each band contributing two new songs. First new material from Headaches since their debut EP. Im a sucker for the swooning vocal style of Headache's Shane Collins and their brand of catchy melodic punk. These songs sound like they were effortlessly written & recorded, their contribution to this split really overshadows the efforts of Milhouse. Milhouse play a quirky, upbeat punky style, kind of like the Get Up Kids mixed with Lungs. These two songs have a stop start style to their structure and a bit of a rise and fall feel to them. Not instantly likeable as Headaches they take a few listens, more of a slow grower.
