Once again Converge are back with another solid album that will not dissapoint. This is probably their most punk sounding album since Petitioning the empty sky, with a few faster songs where Jacob sings more than screams. The sound is raw and stripped back and doesn't have the same intensity or bone crushing breakdowns that could be found on Axe To Fall or No Heroes but has this rolling punky crust sound to it throughout. They have gone with a different vibe from the last few albums and i think it works really well. All in all this is another great album by Converge and one they will not lose any fans over. - Simon Walker
