Not long before Brisbane post-hardcore outfit FIRES OF WACO unexpectedly called it a day, the band had been working towards the release of a brand new EP. Consisting of 4 brand new tracks, as well as featuring songs from their recently released 'The Journey Slow' 7", the 'Currents And Undertows' EP is arguably the band's finest work in their short two year existence.

Japan’s FC Five have announced the release of their final album and final shows throughout South East Asia. The album, a greatest hits package entitled The Anthems, is being released by Neuse Records on February 22nd and features guest appearances from Aaron Bedard (Bane), Nick Horsnell (Miles Away), Chris McLane (Stretch Arm Strong), and Zack Jordan (Bane/Silent Drive), plus artwork by ex-Bane bassist Peter Chilton.

The recently reformed Jughead's Revenge are currently in the midst of writing new material. The band hopes to record in May, and release an EP or 7-inch soon after. The band has continued to perform at a number of live shows since 2010 under the name Jugg's Revenge due to a lawsuit with Archie Comics.

The La Dispute Australian tour kicks off tonight in Brisbane for two nights before making it's way down the coast to Sydney and Canberra. A lot of the shows have already sold out, but plenty of extra shows have been added to compensate, making sure no one misses out.
