Los Angeles based hardcore band, Strife, will be heading down to Brazil next week to start recording a brand new full length record. They have enlisted long time friend, Iggor Cavalera (Sepultura / Cavalera Conspiracy) to play drums on the album. The album is being produced by Terror’s Nick Jett (Take Offense, Lionheart).

Writer/director Scott Crawford and director of photography Jim Saah are roughly halfway through production for Salad Days: The DC Punk Revolution, a documentary on the 1980s Washington, DC punk scene expected out in 2013. Among those slated to be featured in the film are Ian Mackaye (Fugazi), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Scream) and Henry Rollins (Black Flag)
