The reunited Refused played a secret show in Brooklyn on April 23 at Acheron, the same night they played a sold out Ceremony show at venue, Terminal 5. They opened their set with an improv cover of the Earth Crisis' militant mosh classic "Firestorm."

Revelation Records have announced a reissue of some classic CHAIN OF STRENGTH shirt designs and posters. These are set to be released on May 7th to help commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the label. Does this also mean that perhaps Chain Of Strength are the mystery band as yet unannounced on the Sunday show?

Check out a clip of what went down on RECORD STORE DAY 2012 at Resist Records in Newtown last weekend. Toy Boats performed some new and old songs live in store to an appreciative crowd of onlookers. Good to see a lot of people come out in support of the day.

Make Do and Mend have revealed the art and track listing for their upcoming debut for Rise Records. The record is to be titled Everything You Ever Loved and the release date is set for June 19, 2012. The band has also released the art work and track listing.

A mini-documentary about Montreal, Quebec’s Omegas, entitled You Can Be Replaced and created by Julian Maxymiw, has been posted online. Omegas notably feature illustrator Spoiler (Backtrack, Iron Boots, Justice) playing bass.

Boston hardcore legends DYS have released a reworked, re-recorded version of their song "Brotherhood." You can stream the track via Bridge Nine's site or a download of the song is also included with the purchase of any DYS-related items from Bridge Nine.

Hot Water Music have revealed the second taste of their Rise Records debut release, "Exister" with the release of the track "State Of Grace". Pre-orders have been launched and the album is due out May 15, and will be their first in eight years following up 2004's "The New What Next".

The seemingly cursed Murder By Death Australian tour will no longer be happening. Meant to kick off next month, the band will no longer be coming to Australia anytime soon. The initial tour first announced was set for Feburary and was then rescheduled to May and booked in some more realistic sized venues.

Agnostic Front have announced a trio of commemorative shows to celebrate 30 years of NYHC. The hardcore punk pioneers will perform the classic 1989 released "Live At CBGB" set in its entirety to pay homage to the passionate New York hardcore subculture that has stood the test of time – a movement Agnostic Front has led since the early 1980s.

Black Breath have debuted their music video for Home of the Grave. The tune comes from the band's recently released Sentenced To Life LP. Black Breath is set to join Martyrdöd, Burning Love and Enabler on the 2012 Southern Lord tour.
