Midnight Funeral has announced it will be pressing a 7 inch release of the 6 song demo for relatively new Melbourne band, Outsiders Code that features members of Her Nightmare, Hitlist, Hopeless and Warbrain. Preorders are up now and limited to 300 copies.

Newcastle melodic youth crew originators, PITFALL have taken out our latest poll and will be the next band to be profiled for our ongoing "Looking Back" series. Fronted by Luke Dolan along with Jamie Hay on guitar as well as the mighty Rod Pack, PITFALL members went on to form the likes of Arms Reach, Bare Knuckle Fight and Conation.

Novemeber will see a return to our shores by Make Do And Mend together with Touche Amore. Both bands were out here last year, with Make Do And Mend on the Soundwave Counter Revolution lineup, while Touche Amore toured with Title Fight.

No Turning Back have announced their next record "No Regrets" will be self released on their own label Take Control Records on October 12th in both CD and LP format. In the past No Turning Back have released records with Think Fast, Bridge Nine and Reflections Records amongst others.

In yet another win for the crowd funding model, COSMIC PSYCHOS : BLOKES YOU CAN TRUST reached 100% of its $28,000 goal with Australian crowd funding site pozible.com. For what had been initially a self-financed project, Director Matt Weston thought he’d give the crowd funding model a shot to try and raise half of the funds required to complete the project.

Hardcore Collective have posted a documentary shot at the Revelation Records 25th Anniversary shows this past June in Pomona, California.  Running just over 20 minutes in length, the video includes interviews with Greg Bennick and Timm McIntosh (of Trial), Sam Yarmuth (of Triple-B Records), and more plus a portion of the mini-set Quicksand played.
