Now, over 30 years since forming, GOVERNMENT ISSUE have started the process to release some of the recordings from their early years. On November 13th, GOVERNMENT ISSUE will release the first volume of their new Live Bootleg Series, featuring 27 live sets recorded between 1981 and 1985.

Since October 29th, Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong has been posting up new songs for his solo project called Tim Timebomb and Friends. Collaborating with a host of different musicians Tim has been covering some of his favourite songs and throwing a few originals into the mix as well. He has also posted a video for a cover of The Faces "Ooh La La" with Travis Barker of The Transplants/Blink 182 on drums.

Revelation Records have released the first details of their planned 25th anniversary celebrations for Chicago at the end of January. This time around will mark a reunion for Shelter with plenty of other rumours floating around like, Inside Out and Judge. So far 7 bands have been confirmed.

To support the release of "Lady Wisdom" Endless Heights will return to the road in December with new Broken Hive Records artist Civil War, in a tour that will see them headline their biggest shows to date and return to places they have visited in the last year with bands like Basement, The Swellers and Hopeless.

Musical trends come and go, but the bands who stick around are the ones who eschew whatever’s popular in favor of playing the music that’s in their hearts—and Pennsylvania’s Title Fight are a perfect example of this. Having toured in 2011, Title Fight return to Australian shores in March 2013 with Tasmania’s Luca Brasi joining them on all the dates.
