Parkway Drive are currently bunkered down in a Los Angeles studio hard at work on their fourth album. The as-yet-untitled effort is the follow-up to 2010’s phenomenally successful Deep Blue, which debuted #2 on the ARIA Charts and #39 in the US on the Billboard 200.

EXCEL, the long-defunct punk/metal fusion band from Venice, California, is planning to reunite for select live shows.  "EXCEL are getting back together as a result of EXCEL bassist Shaun Ross and myself jamming with Alex Barreto (CHAIN OF STRENGTH) on guitar in Rialto, California.

Sydney band RELENTLESS have wrapped up recording their new full length album, "Turn The Curse" due out in October. They have released a short video from the recording process at Electric Sun Studios with Terror's Nick Jett.

Converge will be co-releasing a new split 7″ EP with Napalm Death. Converge will contribute one new original song, “No Light Escapes,” as well as a guest laden cover of Entombed’s “Wolverine Blues”. Napalm Death will also contribute two new original songs, “Will By Mouth” and “No Impediment To Triumph (Bhopal),” exclusive to this release.

Newcastle band The Hollow have announced their break up, with their last show being on August 1st at the Cambridge Hotel in their home town.

Expire have premiered a new video for the song "Abyss", off their Bridge 9 album "Pendulum Swings". The video was filmed in/around the band's Midwestern headquarters, and Expire's guitarist Zach Dear said, "Filming the video was great. We picked to shoot at the Minneapolis and Des Moines shows so we could get a ton of friends in it."

SOUL SEARCH have premiered a new song called “In The End” from the upcoming "America's Hardcore Compilation Vol. 2 due out later this year on Triple B Records. The comp will also feature new and exclusive tracks from the likes of Bane, Beware, Ringworm, Supertouch, United Youth and more.
