Total Attack Fest will return to Brisbane for the third year running over the weekend of May 3rd to 5th. Headlining the fest will be Sotalia from Europe along with bands from all corners of the country including Kromosom, Shackles and Deep Heat.

Sharks have announced that their new album will be titled "Selfhood" and released on April 30 through Rise Records. The band have released a new song from the album, titled ‘Portland’, which can be streamed.

Brisbane band THICK SKIN have announced they will be breaking up. The band released a 7 inch titled "Wolf" last year on Arrest Records, as well as contributing a song to the "Split Scene" comp. They also released a split with Melbourne band Step Down and a demo back in 2010.

Alkaline Trio have premiered the music video for their song ‘I, Pessimist’, featuring Rise Against frontman Tim McIlrath. The track is from their upcoming album "My Shame Is True" to be released on Epitaph Records. The album is their first proper studio album since 2010's "This Addiction".

Sad and shocking news for us to hear that Chris Torpy passed away on Saturday morning, ending his life at only a short 24 years of age. As the frontman for Sydney band We Lost The Sea and formerly of All Embedded Memories, Chris was best revered for his anguished vocals and insightful lyrics.
