The 6-song EP features cover songs from Urban Waste, The Pixies, Crisis, Eddie and the Subtitles, Vile and Wire and were recorded as outtakes during the Rohnert Park LP recording session. The EP kicks off with Urban Waste's "Public Opinion" which takes me back to the Sunday Matinee NYHC comp and they do the song the justice it deserves. Other highlights are the covers of Eddie and The Subtitles' "American Society", Crisis "Holocaust" and the left of centre version of Wire's "Pink Flag". Is it wrong of me to like Ceremony more as a cover band than their usual songwriting output. I wonder if kids who usually jock Ceremony secretly hate this EP as I think its brilliant.
