Operation Ivy frontman Jesse Michaels has joined forces with the guys from Hard Girls to form latest band Classics Of Love. This 13 track full length follows up their debut 2009 EP, "Walking in Shadows". Much like Op Ivy, this band is also the perfect blend of classic ska with raging punk rock, only this time around the recording quality is much higher. Similarly the bass playing also shines through as does Jesse's varied vocal delivery and lyrical content. “Life is a game where you see who can make the most money/Life is a game where you see who can get the most power” from 'Stronghold'. If you felt a little let down by his past band Common Rider, fear not as this will definietly restore your faith in Jesse Michaels. In fact its quite brilliant really.
