Really interesting six song debut EP for Brisbane's DONE FOR. Playing a heavier, yet melodic style of hardcore, recently popularised by the likes of Modern Life Is War or Defeater, DONE FOR bring a lot to the table on their maiden effort. None of these six songs sound like each other, as the band excel at arranging their songs without falling into the trappings of repetition. Musically there is a lot going on in these songs, yet still retaining a lot of melody to their sound. Vocals are screamed, but not in the annoying metalcore style, but more appealing and natural. This is a great debut from a young band who will only mature even further with time.
