C.O.F.F.I.N who hail from Sydney's Northern Beaches have dropped their second full length album that features 14 tracks and was recorded over the last 18 months. There really is no easy way to describe the sound of the band as they mix a lot of different styles to create something that to me sounds like a mix of NoMeansNo, Rich Kids On LSD and NOFX. There is some talented musicianship on show here and some very unpredictable song writing as well. The vocals take some getting used too and this doesn't have that instantaneously love from the first listen, it takes a little while to grow on you. In all though this is a prety cool release and this band are super fun to watch live.
