Debut album from Tasmania's Luca Brasi, that features 10 rocking tunes very much in the vein of Sommerset or maybe even early Against Me and Jawbreaker. Think quirky, but catchy melodic punk rock that is instantly likeable and listenable, but yet takes a few spins before you know the singalong chorus lines. Some really intelligent songwriting on display here, mixed in with an impeccable use of back up vocals and background guitar leads to boot. Apparently this band has only been together for over a year and yet they already have a very refined and matured sound. Great record and excellent debut. Expect the vinyl release from Poison City Records real soon too.
