4 way split featuring Beartrap and Anti Venom from the USA coupled with Brisbane’s Downpour and Byron Bay’s Shackles. 4 short flat out songs from Downpour and Beartrap, with 2 from Anti Venom and 3 for Shackles. The latter two bands mentioned, for me, are the more appealing bands featured. Anti Venom have a blazing Hope Con / APMD vibe to their sound that features some really well thought out music. While Shackles have that crossover of sounds that they do so well, that incorporates hardcore, doom and power violence in their approach. Cool split showing the strength of our local talent definitely stands up.
