Last week Hot Water Music played a sold out show at the FZW in Dortmund. Chuck thought it would be cool for the band to perform a spontaneous, unannounced acoustic set before the show - exclusively for Cardinal Sessions (and the lucky fans waiting outside).

They played two songs from the new album "Exister", their first in eight years. Critics agree that both songs, "State of Grace" and "The Traps", embody Hot Water Music at its best: "What more is there to say? They are and remain Hot Water Music."

It took a few moments before the people waiting outside realized just what was happening. But as you can see at the end of "State of Grace", it didn't take long for people to realize just how lucky they were to witness such a rare, intimate moment - captured for you in two videos.

In other Hot Water Music news they will have a have limited edition Hot Water Music x Vannen EXISTER watch up for order today. EXISTER features original album art by Richard Minino and custom engravings on the back casing and crown. EXISTER is limited to only 500 pieces, and will retail for $75. Each EXISTER watch comes with a Hot Water Music sticker and packaging signed by the entire band! Exister will be available at 9am EST on June 29th, 2012 and available only at VannenWatches.com and HotWaterMusic.com.
