Follow up 4 song 7inch release to their "Myth Of Terra Nullis" 7 inch released earlier this year. Hailing from Adeliade, Standard Union play a classic street punk / folk style and play it well. Sounding very Australiana in nature with an ocker gravelly vocal delivery Stand Union sound like a mix of The Pogues, Dropkick Murphys, Street Dogs and Sydney City Trash perhaps. This has a very working class feel to it with great story telling song themes about drinking, relationships and Australian culture. Dual vocals are weaved together perfectly with the sound of a mandolin on the track "Born For Hanging". Awesome artwork rounds out another impressive release for Standard Union.
