Firstly I'm a huge Face To Face fan and I thought their previous album "Laugh Now, Laugh Later" was absolutely brilliant. I've celebrated all evolutions of this band's sound from 'Dont Turn Away' to 'Reactionary' even. And here comes the but... sadly this new album is a major dissappointment. I thought the lead songs "Bright Lights" and "Right As Rain" were pretty weak, figured maybe the label had chosen the wrong songs to promote even, but alas once I listened to the whole thing I have to agree, they are indeed the standout tracks. I'm not sure if this was really rushed or if Face To Face are trying something a little different perhaps?
