The reformed HITLIST will be heading to Sydney in November to headline Takedown 2012. Also on the bill are Thick Skin from Brisbane, Anchors and Thorns from Melbourne, Mark My Words from the Central Coast and local bands Relentless, Final Frontier and Hell On Earth who will be playing their first show.

Melbourne 80s hardcore punk originators Depression are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year with a string of shows around the country. On Friday October 26th they will be playing in Brisbane for the first time ever at the Prince Of Wales Hotel.

Melbourne's ILL VISION have decided to bring the existence of their band to an end. They've announced the Miles Away All Ages show at the Phoenix Youth Centre in Footscray will be their last.

MILES AWAY will hit the road once again in November and December, this time to celebrate their 10th anniversary as a band. The ‘Make It A Decade’ Tour will see the band share the stage with very special friends, the hardcore juggernaut CRUEL HAND (USA) and fellow Perth wild ones THE OTHERS.

Formerly of Perth, Battletruk have announced two reunion shows in Sydney and Newcastle come November. The band last played in May of 2011.
