All week we'll be bringing you photos and footage from both days of Hardcore 2012. First cab off the rank, is Break Even from Perth, WA. The photos and video footage is from the Saturday night over 18s show, their second last show ever, a very heartfelt occasion indeed.

Expire have premiered a new video for the song "Abyss", off their Bridge 9 album "Pendulum Swings". The video was filmed in/around the band's Midwestern headquarters, and Expire's guitarist Zach Dear said, "Filming the video was great. We picked to shoot at the Minneapolis and Des Moines shows so we could get a ton of friends in it."

SOUL SEARCH have premiered a new song called “In The End” from the upcoming "America's Hardcore Compilation Vol. 2 due out later this year on Triple B Records. The comp will also feature new and exclusive tracks from the likes of Bane, Beware, Ringworm, Supertouch, United Youth and more.

Out now is a new album from The Bouncing Souls entitled COMET through RISE RECORDS and the Souls very own label, CHUNKSAAH RECORDS. The band have released a video for the track "Ship In A Bottle" which you can check out..

Revelation Records have released more info on their run of 25th Anniversary shows on the West Coast to take place at Irving Plaza in New York from October 11th to 14th. More flyers have been released announcing the bands to make up the lineup.

JONAH MATRANGA is essentially unique. His music is somewhere in between Nick Drake, Cheap Trick and Sinead O'Connor... but not really. Over the last 15 years, he’s fronted rock bands (Far, Gratitude, New End Original) and made more solo-ish albums as onelinedrawing and simply under his name. He’s made records with budgets ranging from $300 to $300,000.

Plenty of news out of the the PEE Records headquarters down in Adelaide. New hoodies are available for order, a new copy of PEE zine is available as well as the debut album from New Zealand's "Out Cold A.D"

As we reported a few months ago there is still major beef between Harley Flanagan and the current Cro Mags lineup. Reports out of New York last night indicate the beef has reached a whole new level with Harley stabbing current Cro Mags bassplayer Mike Couls (formerly of Sworn Enemy).

Hopeless have announced they have parted ways with original singer Brett Sutton as a result of creative differences. Brett contributed vocals to the band's two previous releases, the "Dear World" full length and "Human" 7inch. Replacing him will be Break Even frontman Mark 'Mawds' Bawden.
