Newcastle band, The Delta Lions will be releasing their second album 'Post Code' in August. The album features 9 songs recorded by the band's drummer Mat and Guitarist/Vocalist Mick in Mat's studio 'Scabbey Road' where Hazards, Civil War, White Male Dumbinance have all recorded previously. The release will be availble for digital download, on CD and on vinyl as part of a limited edition run of 150 12" LPs. The band will have a few shows coming up in Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Wollongong, Melbourne and Brisbane to support the release with the details soon to be confirmed.
 
The Delta Lions formed in 2010, releasing their debut album 'Magentic South' in January 2012 and have played a ton of shows since including supports with Trial Kennedy, After The Fall and most notably Deniz Tek earlier this year. The music is mostly rocky, with some country influences ala The Replacements, Plimsouls, Drive By Truckers and The Hold Steady. Members have previously played with Draw The Line, No Heroes, The Dead Walk, Case For Jefferson and Candy & The Full Moons.
