For 17 years, the Vans Warped Tour has been a punk rock juggernaut, a misfit circus crisscrossing North America every Summer and a roaming roadshow of youth culture.

Along the way, Warped has provided a launching pad for some of the world’s biggest acts, from Green Day and Blink 182 to Ice-T, Eminem and No Doubt along with perennial punk legends such as Pennywise, All, Bouncing Soles and Bad Religion. Basically if you spent any part of the 90′s with skaters, surfers and creators you are connected to Warped!

In 2010 director Parris Patton, producers Stacey Peralta and Agi Orsi along with the team behind Dogtown & Z-Boys, filmed over 300 hours of tour footage. No Room for Rockstars depicts true stories of modern era rock and roll. From the kids in the van playing parking lots hoping to be discovered, to the veteran stage manager whose life was saved by the tour, to the musician who crosses over to mainstream success while on the road.

The film features music from Suicide Silence, Never Shout Never, Mike Posner, Forever Came Calling and Warped favorites Pennywise, Bouncing Souls and Sum 41.

An accompanying album, The Vans Warped Tour Greatest Hits, is available separately for purchase and features classic songs by bands who have performed on the tour throughout the years, including Sublime, Descendents, Buzzcocks, Pennywise, Suicidal Tendencies, No Doubt and more.

No Room for Rockstars will release on DVD with a bonus music CD from May 15. These will be available at Vans stores in Australia.
