Last Ride Records has announced a new 7inch release for Perth band THE CHAIN.

The Chain have come back swinging with another one. Hidden away in the isolated piece of the country often referred to as Planet Perth, The Chain have been on a steady incline, establishing themselves as one of the standouts of Australian hardcore's current pack.

Recorded in mid 2020 when Perth began to return to some sense of normality and indadvertedly became the hardcore capital of the world, the new self-titled 7" finds The Chain at their most unhinged. Six tracks of blistering hardcore, taking the foundations the band laid on the "Bitter Pill" 7" and "Moral Code" teaser, but again twisting the dials a little further.

The first taste of the record "Burn It Down" is streaming now on all digital services, which you can check out by hitting the button below. Pre-orders for the 7" are available now in the webstore ahead of the December 3 release date, with the record being limited to 200 copies on black vinyl.

Along with the record, there's an exclusive pre-order shirt. The proceeds from these shirts will be donated to The Black Dog Institute. The shirt is available to pre-order from November 15 to December 2.
