NGM Records in Brisbane have relocated premises and are having a reopening sale today (Saturday 16th) to celebrate. The store is run by Rick from local band, Sick People.
"After a successfull initial 6 months tucked away in the old Absoe building, above the boundary street markets - we've luckily been given an opportunity to relocate to a brand new, much more "user friendly" premises. We would like to thank everyone that made the most of the previous space and showed their support since the beginning - it does mean a lot to us.
After almost two months of hard labour, intense long hours, navigating physical maneuvers never thought possible we are now at 161 BOUNDARY STRET, smack bang in the heart of WEST END we're no longer difficult to find and we're more eager than ever to provide records, tapes, t-shirts and of course - screenprinting to the people of Brisbane and those who travel to it.
To show a bit of our gratitude and to get the ball rolling in our new premises there will be some $15 LP's, $5 EP's and $15 t-shirts for the opening day only and for those of you who spend in excess of $100 you'll receive 10% off your next purchase.
Not to mention we've also just got in a big stack of new stock!!
So come along - we're open from 10am Saturday the 16th of January until 6pm.
We will also be open Sunday from Midday to 4pm."
