HARBOURER have announced they are breaking up and the upcoming show with basement in Wollongong will be their last...
"The last few months we've been keeping quiet, but unfortunately we will no longer be continuing as a band. This will give each member some time to travel and also focus on our own commitments and lives. Still the best of friends, some of us have other things in mind.
Despite only being together for a few years we have been extremely lucky to play an incredible amount of shows with bands like Daylight, Touche Amore, La Dispute, Transit, Lagwagon, Make Do and Mend, Pianos Become the Teeth, The Swellers and great friends Endless Heights.
In saying this, our last show will be with Basement at Rad (Yours and Owls) in Wollongong on the 28th of July which is now sold out. Ironically, we played just our second ever show at this venue with Basement in 2012. It is sold out, but come anyway. We would love to see everybody we know get down there and go crazy.
We endlessly thank every band, promoter, venue, friend, fan and anyone else that has supported us in our short run. We can see the effect you've had on us and cannot express that thank you enough.
You can still buy our 7" on vinyl at the Broken Hive Records online webstore, at our last show, and every other day after that. Please continue to support BHR and buy each and everyone of their releases, past and present.
It's been fun.
See you at RAD.
Cal, Brendan, Matt and Adrian"
