American grungegaze group Fleshwater have announced their first ever Australian tour is just around the corner! Fleshwater will finally cross the ocean into Australian waters this November.
The band were set to make their debut for Australian audiences earlier this year at New Bloom Festival, but had to withdraw ahead of the shows. Much to the excitement of their Aussie fans, Fleshwater's highly anticipated live show can finally be experienced in just a matter of weeks.
Conceived in 2017 as the side project of members of Vein.fm, Fleshwater have cultivated a global cult-like following, ignited by the release of their 2020 debut EP, the aptly titled 'demo2020'. With the release of their early single Linda Claire, which has gone on to generate over 5.5 million individual streams on Spotify alone, the scene was set for the 90s and early 2000s rock-inspired group to step beyond the underground.
Since then, Fleshwater have toured alongside staple acts No Pressure, Koyo and Harms Way and will follow up Australia with a North American tour supporting Deftones and The Mars Volta through February, March and April. Their debut album 'We’re Not Here To Be Loved' released in 2022 and has seen the band perform at major US festivals including Lollapalooza, Sick New World Fest, Riot Fest, Sound & Fury and more.
