Forming in Olympia in 2011, GAG were “…Destined to be the most famous of all the bands. At least in their vision of the future that is. We like them. You like them. Why not? Go big or fuck off.” Thanks Iron Lung Records for such a brief but adequate write up.

Gag are a Hardcore punk band from Olympia USA. They first came on my radar with a 2013 single release titled “This Punk Shit is cool but I hope I am Rob Zombie when I am 28”. The cover was a hand in a leather fingerless glove, holding a peeled banana covered in Studs. They’ve since released a number of different albums, singles and live sets, most notably staying committed to Iron Lung records with the albums “Still Laughing” “Americans Greatest Shits” and “Killing for Both Realities 3 ’92”. At the time they blew me out of the water live and on record, while they ran with other similar bands at the time such as Hoax, Die (UK), SHIT, Warthog and other notable US Hardcore punk bands and that scene between the late 2000s to late 2010’s. 


Members of GAG also play or have played in Lower Species, Angel Du$t, Brick Layer, White Wards, Odd Man Out and a number of other short lived but notable Hardcore bands from Seattle and Olympia over the past 15 or so years
They're only here for a short time (but a good time!) so come out to a show and have a wild time with GAG!
