It’s been more than four years since their last visit and next year Orange County punks ZEBRAHEAD will be heading around the country on their first headlining tour of Australia. Proudly presented by Arrest Records, this is only their fourth visit to our shores since their first in 1999, so don’t miss out on the party! They’ve got 20+ years of touring and twelve albums under their belt, so expect to hear songs from their massive back catalogue, including last year’s Bonus Brothers, a compilation of bonus songs previously only available on physical format in Japan. If we’re lucky we might even get to hear some new stuff from their upcoming thirteenth record, teased for a release very soon.
And there will be no rest for lead guitarist and owner of the coolest moustache in the biz, Dan Palmer. He’s on double-duty each night, ripping it up in hardcore punk band DEATH BY STEREO, joining the tour as co-headliners on all dates. This year marks two decades since the band’s inception and to celebrate, they’ve been playin’ shows and brewin’ beers! While we may not have the opportunity to crack any Death For Life Hazy Pale Ales, we will get to witness the insane energy the last 20 years of DBS shows are known for.
With both bands playing headline-length sets, plus local supports to be announced, you’ll want to make sure you head down early with your dancing shoes. It all kicks off late April in Brisbane, then jumps in the van to head south for shows down the East Coast and Adelaide, including a stop off at the newly acquired Crowbar Sydney.
