POISON CITY WEEKENDER FEST 2016 ANNOUNCED
Now in it's 8th year, Poison City's annual Weekender Fest is widely regarded as one of Australia's premier mini-festivals. Bringing together friends old and new, the 3 day event celebrates everything great about the independent, underground and DIY music community that Poison City Records has helped foster across Australia over the past decade. Weekender Fest converges on Melbourne again this September 9,10,11th with another huge line-up of local, national and international bands just announced, taking place at a variety of the cities best known live music venues.
Heading up the festivities is world-wide party starters THE BENNIES, noise-rock legends THE NATION BLUE, plus international visitors PITY SEX, CAYETANA, ROZWELL KID and CREATIVE ADULT. They'll be joined by HIGH TENSION, CAMP COPE, CERES, LOOSE TOOTH, FEAR LIKE US, THE HARD ACHES, BATPISS, HANNAHBAND, OUCH MY FACE, THE SUGARCANES, HORROR MY FRIEND, PALE HEADS, FLOUR, TOTALLY UNICORN, FOURTEEN NIGHTS AT SEA and CHORES - with more still to be announced!
This year's limited Weekender Fest '3 Show Pass' (access to Max Watts / Corner 18+ / The Reverence) comes as a special bundle with A2 screen printed poster and Weekender Fest t-shirt. Tickets also available for all shows individually.
