Having announced they will hang up the instruments in 2016, Foundation will return to Australia for the last time in March for a victory lap showcasing their entire back catalogue. Last seen in Australia as part of the Break The Ice festival in 2014, the band also took in the east coast for a run of shows that flattened venues. Knowing this will be the last chance to dance forever, it’s time for Australia to say goodbye to one of the most important hardcore bands of the last decade.

A band that has never compromised their message or intensity, Foundation laid down their final release in “Turncoat,” a 5 song EP dropped in 2015 that showed no signs that the band was slowing down and was going to go out with a bang and not a whimper. Turncoat finishes the job that Foundation started with their self titled EP in 2008, 7 years of straight edge and hardcore anthems, fuel to fire the mind and the heart and all perfect for performance in a sweaty crowded room.

Joining Foundation in their victory lap around down under will be Melbourne’s Rebirth. A band that wears their ethics on their sleeves, Rebirth has made ripples in the Australian hardcore scene, bringing back socially aware straight edge hardcore reminiscent of the greats like Indecision, Trial and Earth Crisis. Having dropped 4 releases in just over a year both independently and through Life.Lair.Regret, Rebirth are readying their debut LP for release early 2016 and will air out tracks new and old on this tour.

Foundation and Rebirth will be heading down the east coast this march taking in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide in a final goodbye to Australia. Show your devotion, get your rope and don’t miss Foundation, one last time.
