Taking a break from the recording of their new record 'Holy Lands' Sumeru are playing a run of shows around the country this spring beginning with Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra & Wollongong. For these shows Sumeru team up with friends old and new to celebrate their love for all things loud, heavy and riff related.

The tour kicks off in Newcastle at The Cambridge Hotel Friday August 30 with Drug Mother, Deadly Visions, Choke and Bite Back followed by a massive show at the Valve Basement Bar in Sydney on Friday September 5 with Melbourne's Horsehunter who are fresh from supporting High On Fire on their recent Australian tour, along with fellow Melbourne band Watchtower, Oppressor and Bad Deeds. The Pot Belly Bar in Canberra gets a dose of the riffs with Watchtower and Canberra locals Foreign Kings (ex Venom eyes) unleashing their own brand of Sabbath worship on Saturday September 6. The South Coast is well represented with Oppressor playing the Sydney show and an all age show at the Illawarra's best little venue Rad on Sunday September 7, Wollongong with Hostile Objects and locals Sundial and War Torn. Keep an eye out as Sumeru continues the Spring Tour later in September/October playing shows in Brisbane, Yamba, Leeton, Adelaide & Melbourne.
