“Lost In Life” Australian Tour 2014
With Special Guests
IRON MIND & THE OTHERS
January 2014 will see old friends reunite as Backtrack return to Australia two years after their debut visit to tread the boards once again with some of the top dogs in Australian hardcore, Iron Mind. Both bands hard riffs and strong work ethic has seen them go from strength to strength in the last few years and 2014 looks to be their biggest yet, both releasing new albums in January and celebrating with a national tour. Also joining them this time round will be Perth’s most exciting hardcore band, The Others. Channelling the rock gods, The Others 2013 debut album “Red Eyes” has made a name for them, surprising many.
Having played every conceivable stage from the smallest basement to the biggest festival in the last 24 months, Backtrack will return to Australia in January to launch their second full length “Lost In Life.” The band will be landing Down Under just a week after the album is released (January 14th on Bridge 9 Records), and unleashing fresh cuts from the album as well as favourites from their extensive back catalogue. The New York natives distinct sound and energy saw them pack out rooms on their first visit to Australia and with fans baying for their return, this tour will see limbs flying once more.
Iron Mind have established themselves as a real force in the Australian hardcore scene. Having just inked a deal with the legendary Resist Records to release their second, self-titled album in January, the band are riding high after having spent the last few years touring hard and perfecting their sound. Holding away in a cabin in the Dandenong ranges with Mike Deslandes (Coerce, Blkout), Iron Mind have produced their strongest effort yet, and look to unleash a brand new arsenal of hardcore tunes this January.
Rounding out this triple bill of hardcore will be Perth wonder kids, The Others. A band who grows from strength to strength with every tour, the band will look to make a splash, playing tracks from their debut album “Red Eyes” and converting audiences to their groove laden sounds with every show.
