Melbourne thrash/crossover legends, Screaming In Churches have announced plans for a March 2014 reunion show in their hometown to benefit drummer Jamie, who he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

The band originally formed in 1986 and released a much heralded demo and disbanded in 1989. Au Go Go later released the band's only output, an 8 song self titled 12" EP in 1988 with artwork supplied by Hellmenn frontman Ben Brown, that has since gone on to become a collector's item.

The band's original lineup featured Damo of 28 Days and Force Fed fame on bass.

Bomber of Depression/Within Blood/Mindsnare/Chain Gun fame will be filling in on drums for the show, while original members Luke and Mark will also be playing, along with Damo.

No word yet on a venue or definitive date, but we are informed there will be a few surprises in store. More info when it comes to hand.
