In a few weeks Strength Records will issue a re-release of the mighty AGNOSTIC FRONT - CAUSE FOR ALARM album on limited vinyl. The LP will be released in a limited edition of 500 copies on 4 different colours of wax! Strength Records is a new label set up by AF's Roger Miret and Onno CroMag.
1986's Cause for Alarm was a difficult album to record, due to constant line-up changes and personnel problems. Released on Combat Records, it was the band's second album following up "Victim In Pain". This album would mark AF's foray into the world of crossover thrash. Several groups, including Jello Biafra and the fanzine Maximum Rocknroll, have criticized Agnostic Front for the controversial lyrics of the song "Public Assistance", written for the band by then-Carnivore frontman Peter Steele. It also featured drumming by Louie Beateaux (also of Carnivore).
The album also marked the band's first excursion as a five piece with the addition of guitarist Alex Kinon who joined former Cause For Alarm band mate Rob Kaula in Agnostic Front, hence the album's name.
