Bad Habit Records has announced the vinyl press for Indonesian band GLICH of their "No Silence Left" EP.
From the label...
There is no silence left when bodies are forced into submission and voices are compelled to remain mute. The debut EP, “NO SILENCE LEFT,” was born from years of accumulated disgust—from conversations cut short, courage stifled, and a rage that has finally been unleashed, unfiltered. It is more than just a rhythmic creation; it is a collection of restless fragments assembled into an explosion—loud, raw, and uncompromising.
Across eight tracks, the EP dismantles dominant narratives and refuses to conform to obsolete norms. It cracks the myth of an “invulnerable” power, celebrates the spirit of building from the ground up, and hurls criticism at a culture that enforces silence through violence. It asserts the necessity of safe spaces—unconditional and all-encompassing—while challenging the boundaries of life and reimagining what is possible. It calls out the greed of industries that exploit for profit, strips away the mask of fragile masculinity, and reignites a fire on the streets—a fire too often extinguished.
Nothing here is sugar-coated; there are no metaphors veiled in forced politeness. It is simply reality, sharpened and spat out with full, conscious intent. It serves as both a stance and a reminder: even when a voice isn’t loud, it remains alive and will always find its place. Silence is not the end, and submission is not destiny. Forced deafness and enforced muteness will, in time, carve out their own path. This is an alternative manifesto—a call to listen to those who have never been heard, to speak even when uninvited, and to scream even when not given permission. For even amidst the ruins, voices will continue to sprout—wild, resilient, and deeply rooted.
